Our Story

The idea of Honey Suite was created from 35 years of firsthand experience in residential housing and senior care. After building thousands of homes and operating an in-home senior care business, our founder saw the same pattern. Families wanted to stay together but senior housing options didn’t support it. Traditional care solutions could only go so far without consistent proximity, and the housing environment was often a barrier.

What if we could bring families back together—without sacrificing independence?

‍The answer started with a space almost every home already has: A garage.

‍From there, the idea evolved:

• What if that space could become a private apartment?
• What if it could be done efficiently, without major construction?
• What if it didn’t require a permanent, irreversible decision?

That led to the Honey Suite model: A modular apartment, installed inside the home. esigned to create independence and connection at the same time.
